As part of the Energy – Water – Climate Nexus, Enda Energie has launched, among other things, an Energy Sovereignty for Food Sovereignty (SESAL) initiative. Through it, the PROGRESS – MILK programme was developed with the financial support of the EU and the Government of Senegal, but also the Energy – Fodder and Milk Programme (DOYLU) with bilateral cooperation (GIZ - Succeed in Senegal programme and ENDEV).

Objectives

The objective of this session is to share innovations and good agricultural practices for optimized exploitation and better exploitation of resources (human and natural) in a context of climate resilience.

• More specifically, it aims to:
• Strengthen the adaptation and climate resilience of local populations;
• Valuing local potential;
• Promote the economic empowerment of communities.

Expected outcomes

At the end of this day, the following results are expected:

• Capacity building, adaptation and resilience of local populations;
• Exploitation of local potential;
• Economic promotion and empowerment of communities.
